Oh No! Public Speaking!

I feel like public speaking. No one likes it. Or at least that was the point that the videos was trying to make. No matter whom you are speaking too, what you are speaking about, or even if you practiced your speech the videos is pointing out that no body likes speaking in front of large groups of people. By demonstrating all the many different emotions before a speech, all of which is negative, it is clear that the message from the video is that everyone gets nervous or scared. It makes you fee like you are some sort of weird creature in a display case. For me, the room begins to spin and I feel like I am about to faint. There are many things to learn from this video, such as; you are not the only person who is scared to get up there and give a speech. Everyone is nervous before they do it. It’s a big help to me, to know that I am not the only one who is scared of giving public speeches. I like knowing that there are people just like me out there, who are nervous before giving a speech.

Every Goddess Needs One!

What does every Goddess need? Well that is a good question. They need inspiration or someone to look up to. Although you may not be able to tell it, that picture is of Athena. She is the Greek goddess of wisdom and war. To give you a little background, this is one of Zeus’ children. However, she was not born like normal humans or gods. Instead she sprang from the forehead of Zeus clad in full armor. This is why she is the goddess of wisdom and war. She is a representation of me, because I see myself as and intelligent person. Since I also enjoy claiming to be a goddess, it only makes since for Athena and I to have some sort of connection. (I never sprang from my father’s forehead, though!)

I am a PICKY reader!

I really love to read. It is, probably, my favorite way to pass time or just relax. This picture represents me, because while I love reading and the more books I can get my hands on the better, I’m also very picky when it comes to what I read. If I have already read a book wrote by a certain author, I will have very high expectations for the next book they wrote. If they don’t meet it, then sometimes I can be slightly disappointed. On the second hand, if they go over these expectations; said expectations will also get higher until it is almost impossible for the author to keep getting better. The reason why I read all thirteen books of the Lemony Snicket Series was because the author was able to meet my higher expectations almost all the time.

Look a Panda!

Pandas, these cute creatures are the next picture in my project. These adorable, but dangerous creatures are a perfect representation for me. Many times we often ignore these creatures for other more showy animals. Have you ever saw commercials for “Panda Week”? Sometimes that is how I feel. However, at the same time you never hear about angry panda attacks on people. These creatures, while huge are very calm. I feel like I am like that also, because while I may get upset it is much easier for me to just let it go than to make a big deal about it. Fun fact alert: baby panda bears are only the size of butter sticks when they are first born. Isn’t that neat?

Just a Purple iPod?

This picture actually represents two parts of my personality. The iPod, itself, is the representation of how much I love listening to music. In my opinion there is never enough time in the day to listen to music. I take my iPod with me wherever I go, no matter where it is. I will actually put my headphones while I am working at work or when ever I am driving. Sometimes, I have even refused not to hang out with my friends, because I needed time to just listen to music. I will spend a lot of money on songs for my iPod. It’s like I am building up a rare colony of music just for myself. The color of the iPod is the second thing. Purple has to be my favorite color. So having an iPod that is purple would combine my love for music and my love for the color into one magnificent work of technology.
